Pascale “Paskö” Merisier was born in 1974 in Port Au Prince Haiti. He has a multidisciplinary training in the arts. After studying painting and drawing at Ecole Sainte Trinité (1994-1996), he started attending workshops at KayTiga, which was known for for it’s “artistic rotation” approach. He then progressively got trained in linocut, monotype, and in ceramics (with Lissa Jeannot). In 2006, he was the recipient of a grant from the French government to study printmaking in Montpellier. In 2010, after the earthquake, he organized an art show to sell artworks in benefit of Haiti at the restaurant L’Espace-Temps in Carcassonne, France. Pasko has participated in various exhibits throughout Haiti including Galerie Monnin, Galerie Marassa, Atelier Jerome, and Kolektif 509. Pasko lives and works in Haiti.
